Our skin is a message board for everything that is going on inside of us. Our faces are a map of our whole body, all our organs and their corresponding emotions. Cystic acne, for example, in the lower cheeks and jaw is actually a “skin message” for deep grief held in the lungs, hormonal imbalances, and a big request from the liver for support or a detox.

We will explore the maps of our faces, decode the language of the skin, and lovingly massage our faces with oil and gua sha stones to leave radiant, contoured, nurtured, and glowing.

A Gua Sha stone is required for this workshop. Please feel free to bring your own if you have one. We will also have them available for purchase in our shop.

Julie Civiello Polier is a licensed aesthetician – specializing in gua sha and reflexology – Reiki Master, intuitive guide, and celebrity facialist. In 2020, Julie launched LINEA, a holistic gua sha beauty kit designed to educate and empower people to connect with their inner and outer bodies. Julie has worked with top brands True Botanicals, KORA Organics, and Jenni Kayne.
