The Well Lived Woman is a proud sponsor of Open Studios of Topanga. WLW Community members and local Topanga artists Danielle Hutchens and Trudy Perry have reimagined this wonderful Topanga tradition while paying homage to its past. For years, this studio tour has seamlessly woven art and architecture, inviting participants to explore a curated selection of artists' studios. Artists in the canyon will be opening their homes or studios to the public to connect with the art and the process behind it.
The Well Lived Woman will proudly showcase the art of LA-based ceramicist Jean Tran .
Tickets are $30 and covers both dates. Children under 14 years of age may enter for free. Find more information and purchase tickets HERE .
Born in 1989 in Philadelphia, PA, Jean Tran is a designer and artist currently occupying the original territories of the Tongva peoples (Los Angeles, CA). Her practice derives inspiration from her everyday surroundings—observing the textural changes caused by forces of nature, and drawing parallels to the textures of her own humanity. First introduced in 2018, each resulting ceramic is an artifact of her meditative process, centered on the acceptance of and interplay between the controlled and uncontrolled.
