I make this healthy treat of a smoothie for my family and brought it to our Community Work Day a couple weeks ago and everyone really enjoyed it. Here’s the recipe to make it yourself!
THE RECIPE
a large handful of fresh mint leaves
2 handfuls of spinach or kale (frozen or raw)
1/2 an avocado (use coconut oil as subsitute)
2 scoops vanilla protein powder
1 banana
milk alternative
1/2 a dropper of SweetLeaf vanilla stevia drops
1-2 TBSP of chia or ground flax
cocoa nibs or any chocolate chips
optional // chlorophyll drops for stronger green color
INSTRUCTIONS
I blend it all together well except for the chocolate chips/nibs. I taste and make any adjustments. Once it’s good, I throw a small handful of the chocolate chips in a give it a quick blend so they don’t blend in too much and are visible.
Enjoy!!
