Men's Group Preview

DESCRIPTION

Tuesday | May 21, 2024 | 5:30 - 6:30 PM PDT

Guest spaces available: 10

Location:  Zoom

Participating in a men's group offers a valuable opportunity to enhance overall well-being by engaging with like-minded individuals. This session led by a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, provides a platform to navigate life's complexities and transitions collectively. Delving into discussions about thoughts and emotions, acquiring new skills, and fostering community with fellow men can significantly bolster mental health, well-being, and a sense of connectedness.

For this first series preview session together, we will be exploring vulnerability and building connections. Together we will discuss challenges in relationships, work, and more. Leave with a new set of tools for navigating intimacy, boundaries, and emotional well-being.

This is an opportunity to explore and discuss often unspoken feelings in a safe and confidential environment.

This is a preview to a multi-session series to be offered later this year with topics including partnership, work, friendship, boundaries, parenting, and more.

Who this is for

This session is great for men who are parents, non-parents, single people, coupled, etc. Its value is to provide a safe and confidential space that can be difficult to find for men. A place to explore thoughts, questions, expectations, and pressures to combat isolation and validation from other men who share similar experiences in a therapeutic environment.

What you can expect

This session will have a specific topic to root the discussion. We will start with a check in to give all members a chance to share and then there will be space for open discussion, questions and feedback (on or off topic).

Jaimi Brooks is a Pepperdine and UCLA-trained therapist and women's group leader who has spent her life working with women in many capacities. Jaimi leads women’s groups on motherhood, identity, and entrepreneurship and is a supporter of finding purpose and joy within and outside of motherhood. She believes a life well-lived is found through living intentionally and works to make that more beautiful and accessible for us all.
