Location: The Well Lived Woman - Topanga Canyon, CA

Join us for a meaningful afternoon with psychologist and author Dr. Jessica Zucker, in conversation with Jaimi Brooks, founder of The Well Lived Woman.

Jessica’s new book Normalize It: Upending the Silence, Stigma, and Shame That Shape Women’s Lives launches April 22 and offers an honest look at the experiences many women go through—but rarely talk about. The aim of this compelling book is to compassionately urge all of us to replace silence with storytelling and, as a result, be part of much-needed cultural change. Through cutting-edge research and composite patient examples, this book delves into topics ranging from girlhood and body image to pregnancy loss, sexual trauma, reproductive choice, motherhood, and menopause in order to illustrate just how difficult it can be to live with stories untold. Normalize It ultimately invites us to tell the truth about our lives. To dare to speak what society has taught us is the unspeakable.

This event will feel like a live podcast followed by an open Q&A and space to reflect together. All women are welcome. Whether you feel called to share or just want to listen, you’ll be part of something that helps break the silence and remind us we’re not alone.

Light refreshments will be provided and each guest will receive a signed copy of Normalize It.
